Hi Guys,

Booking / Vessel details from Maersk attached.
Please note: The vessel has come forward a day, so the container will need
to be sealed Sunday for an early morning pickup on Monday.

That means you can't finish building your yachts on Sunday night!!!

Also, as per my discussion with John you will need a list of contents
as per usual, and it would pay to take some photo's as loading
in case customs queries anything.
Regards

Hi all

Just a quick update for those that dont know the latest dates.

Jason is running around arranging shipping (thanks heaps)

We are going to receive a container to on the 19th November (at this stage)
(Hopefully this extra time will give Colin, Graham and Allen time to finish their yachts :)

Packing is likely to be Sunday 25th November (TBC)

Container sailing out on Mask on the 29th Nov (arriving in Buoses Air two weeks before the contest)

Last weekend I sailed 90 meter befor my new axle snapped. My new Bunnings scaffold plan axle is progressing well and will be ready for testing this Sunday weather permitting..

Repairs on Allen mast are going well.

Catch ya soon.

Hello everyone

Pablo from Argentina is at the European Sand Yacht Championships which will take place between Sunday 16th and Friday 21st in England.

The container arrangements are going well and it will be leaving Auckland. They are struggling with the USA boy’s container.
Thsi week there will be a FISLY meeting. Thereafter Pablo will send out information to every country on how and were to pack there containers.
This will mean we need to start putting together our lists so we can apply for a carnet (tax exemption) for sending all of our equipment overseas.
Looks like the container will be near the beach so we can take all our toys and comfits.

Airfare - If you phone the number on
http://www.argentina2008.com.ar/news.asp
there should be a 15% discount off the flight cost
I jut surfed
http://www.aerolineas.com.ar/ar/index_en.asp?pais=nz&idi=en
and from akl (Auckland) to eze (Buenos Aires) to crd (Comodoro Rivadavia) was $3,066.55 (full price without about discount) Is this good ?

Accommodation
This is being arranged and we can all stay together as a group and are three minutes from the beach.
There website will be update soon with a section for us to fill in to ask for this
It should let you known were and when, hopefully we will know more after next weeks email.
